The latest addition to the straight-to-consumer coffee brand’s roster of small-batch roasts is produced from Castillo, Caturra, Colombia, and Typica varietals near Medellin in the region of Antioquia. To develop its distinctive taste profile, the EP (European Preparation) certified coffee is grown in nutrient-rich volcanic loam soils at high altitudes of up to 1,500 meters.
Boss Brew curates its range of unique, single-origin roasts and flavored blends as an alternative to store-bought coffee that may have been ground weeks or even months prior to being used.
The company has added these Colombian beans to its selection for the country’s traditional growing and drying processes which instill a distinctive, bold, and fruity aroma. The “Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia” was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2011 and is globally recognized as part of the country’s social heritage.
Boss Brew roasts small batches of premium beans to order and ships them direct to customers to ensure they are as fresh as possible. As such, coffee lovers can receive and drink high-quality brews within days of them being roasted. Moreover, the brand exclusively uses ethically sourced beans, complies with fair trade agreements, and is USDA certified.
With 43 varieties of medium-roast Columbian beans, the gourmet coffee brand can also ship roasts from Ethiopia, Honduras, Peru, Guatemala, Brazil, and Papua New Guinea. Its flavored and blended coffees include pumpkin spice, caramel, mocha, chocolate hazelnut, and French vanilla blends.
A spokesperson for the company said, “We provide you with high quality individually crafted small batch specialty coffee from some of the world’s finest destinations where you’ll be able to immediately elevate your home brewing coffee experience!”
